IRTG Joint Symposium

On Monday, May 7th to Tuesday, May 8th 2012 the IRTG Ms-Ng invites to its 13th Joint Symposium. It will proceed at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster, lecture hall O1 (Beginn: 9:00h).

Honorary doctorate for Prof. Kazuyuki Tatsumi

On Monday, May 9th Prof. Kazuyuki Tatsumi was awarded the honorary doctorate of the University of Münster by the department of chemistry and pharmacy. The official ceremony was held during the 11th joint IRTG symposium between Nagoya University and University of Münster. All the members of the IRTG-MS-NG congratulate Prof. Kazuyuki Tatsumi on this prestigious award.

"Eugen und Ilse Seibold"-award of the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) for Prof. Gerhard Erker and Prof. Kazuyuki Tatsumi

The Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft awarded Prof. Kazuyuki Tatsumi and Prof. Gerhard Erker the "Eugen und Ilse Seibold-Preis 2011" as "sustainable promoters of science". This honors their "outstanding contribution to the collaboration between Japan and Germany" as founder of our Training Group.

The IRTG MS-NG is glad to announce the extension of the program for another 4.5 years.

In a highly competitive process the DFG (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft) recently selected our International Research Training Group “Complex Functional Systems in Chemistry - Design Development and Applications” for an extension for additional 4.5 years and granted the University funds of over 5 Million Euro for this period. All members of the group gratefully acknowledge the approval of their work in the past years.
