The Arbeitsstelle Forschungstransfer (AFO) acts as an innovation office within the WWU Münster. AFO promotes and enhances the transfer of research, knowledge and technology. Its partners are private enterprises, the public sector, governmental and non-governmental organisations and individuals. - Advice Centre for Applications for Externally Funded Research
SAFIR is the service centre dealing with the administrative aspects of all questions relating to national and international funding programmes for research at the WWU.

The “Promotion of Research, Patents and Taxes” department looks after the legal and financial issues involved in research projects and is responsible for WWU’s research report.
